Book cover illustrations for books 1-6 of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. Tolkien's original intention was for the story to be told in 6 books, not as a trilogy. This project was to honor his original layout by creating multiple illustrations for each book and choosing a title for each as well. Over the course of a summer, my dad and I bound physical versions of these books as well, making them out of a printed version of the trilogy.
